AAFCO Feeding Trial Completed

Nature’s Logic completed a successful AAFCO Feeding Trial substantiating its family of dry canine diets as 100% complete and balanced for all life stages. Nature’s Logic dry diets are the only commercial dry extruded diets available in retail stores that are formulated from 100% whole foods, with no chemically synthesized vitamins or minerals added. All nutrients in Nature’s Logic diets come from natural whole food ingredients.

With past incidences of vitaminosis, recalls of some by-product mineral supplements due to high levels of dioxin, and recent episodes of hypercalcium in pets consuming diets containing forms of chemically synthesized Vitamin D, Nature’s Logic is the only commercial dry diet alternative to avoid potential toxic affects of over exposure to these unnatural forms of supplements.

The trial showed many interesting results such as dams on Nature’s Logic during lactation gaining weight, where established historical averages showed lactating dams losing weight. The summary of the weekly body weights of puppies on Nature’s Logic during the growth stage of the trial had more weight gain each week than established historical averages. Puppies on Nature’s Logic also gained weight the 6^th week during weaning while established historical averages all lost weight during the 6^th week of age.
